Physics of dense interiors applied to planets and stars

Welcome / Bienvenid@

Hello/Hola! I'm an astrophysicist and planetary scientist currently working in the Theoretical Astrophysics group (TAPIR) at Caltech as a Burke Prize Fellow (Sherman Fairchild Postdoctoral Scholar). My research combines numerical simulations and analytical methods to investigate the interiors of stars and planets, anything round catches my interest! Recently, I have focused on how convection mixes the core of gas giant planets, crystallization-driven dynamos in white dwarfs, and superfluidity in neutron stars. My research has the goal of using observations of these objects to learn about the fundamental physics processes at work in their interiors.  You can have a look at my CV here.
